Unprepared is how I feel! Just got home from a short getaway to Boston with the hubby...he's there on business so I tagged along for two (very short) days. I would like to go back to Boston someday because it rained the entire two days I was there. We are talking dumped buckets of rain on me and beat my umbrella up to a pulp. We didn't take many pics although I do have a good one of Corey trying on the posh hotel robe and slippers while posing with a $9 bottle of water. He has the camera so I'll post it when he gets home. We ate at a few great places and even enjoyed the famous Mike's Pastry.
So I'm totally unprepared for the upcoming Easter weekend. Good thing Easter's not about chocolate, bunnies or eggs cuz I'm not sure how much of that we will be getting once I am finally able to get to the store.
Even though the rain put a mild damper on the trip it was great to be able to hang out with my hubby and remember what life is like when you are able to focus on each other and not wiping butts, feeding bottles, running to lessons, etc. I wouldn't trade any of it, I'm so happy to see my kiddos! It's just nice to get a break every now and again (thanks g-ma!).

No More Drama Please
We have experienced our fair share of drama in the last 4 weeks. Probably more drama than we've ever experienced. Starting with Corey's ambulance ride to the hospital 4 weeks ago, to the "hold up/"arrest" at The Break Time when we were in CoMO last weekend and now this...Seriously, put a fork in me cuz I'm done!

No Excuse
I have no excuse for not blogging lately except for I just don't feel like it. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever be back to my former self when I actually enjoyed blogging. I just realized I haven't taken any pictures since we took the girls to the Melting Pot for their birthdays. Here are some pics from the b-day celebration and a couple of pics from our visit to the pet store. The girls want a little dog for inside the house so we like to go play with puppies.
My little guy started crawling on Saturday. He's been working towards it for awhile and Saturday was the day he took off...and my life has changed! Time to start baby proofing! All three kiddos have doctor appointments on St. Patty's Day so I am looking forward to finding out their stats!
I'm planning to go to Boston with Corey in a couple of weeks. He's going to be there again on business and Grandma has been nice enough to take off work for a few days so we can enjoy a mini getaway. Looking forward to it!

Learing to Read
Aly is learning to read. Her teacher says she is reading above her grade level so we are really proud. Here is a really proud story from this weekend. My parents came over and took the girls for few hours on Saturday because we had a really crazy Friday night/Saturday morning. My siblings go to Francis Howell Central High School. My parents do all kinds of crazy volunteer work at the school. You will always find random "FHC" items in their house, garage, etc. Well my Dad had on a "FHC" hoodie. Aly is totally into sounding out letters to figure out what the word is. I am sure you can see where this is going. Go ahead and sound it out...F...H...C...what does that sound like to you? Needless to say we all got a really good laugh out of that one!
