Six years ago today my life was forever changed by a precious baby girl. Aly's labor was very long and very challenging but she has been the easiest girl ever since! She is so thoughtful and has such a sensitive and caring heart. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from this past year. She's crying at my brother's wedding during the father-daughter dance because she is thinking about the day she gets married and has to leave us. So sweet. Happy Birthday Baby Girl - Momma loves you so much!

Ken's "Junk"
My girls are totally obsessed with "junk". I love the blog because these are the stories I do not want to forget. My mom came to town today from Texas for her annual February visit. This is her 6th year of February visits. This tradition started when Aly was born and she hasn't missed one since. Ashley and Gigi played Barbie Dream House today and this is how the conversation went:
Ashley (holding up Ken doll): Gigi, what do you think his name is?
Gigi: Jerome?
Ashley: No, his name is Eric. Do you think he has a penis?
Gigi: (no words, because she cannot stop laughing)
Elmo update: We stopped at Wal-Mart today to pick up b-day party decorations and while we were in the toy aisle we ran across an Elmo doll...Aly checked and informed us that "yes, Elmo does have a penis underneath all that fur".

Sisterly Love
Today I asked the girls to go get ready for dance and gymnastics. While they are getting ready I hear all of this screaming, crying and carrying on. Ashley came downstairs and I said "why are you guys fighting? It's not nice to fight with your sister, you guys need to learn to love each other." To which she replies "well, we are just fighting like you". I say "like who"? Ash says "like you and Dad". Wonderful...stay tuned for more...I'm sure it won't be long.
