Check out our new little "widget". Mom thought it would be a good idea to put this on my blog. So here's a picture of your "little widget", Mom.

Pumpkin Masters...Ugh, Not Really

Tonight we carved our pumpkins and let me just say that we have a new found respect for the original "Pumpkin Masters", that would be my parents in Texas. I think this is the first time that Corey and I have carved pumpkins together. I know it was the first time that the girls carved pumpkins.

I sent Corey and the girls out one night a couple of weeks ago to get the pumpkins. I picked up the candles and the "pumpkin masters" kit and we were ready to go. We were going to carve Disney Princesses but then we decided to try out the patterns in the book.

Eye-yi-yi, it was tough. Ashley chose a spider with a web, as you can see from the pictures she got a smiley faced pumpkin. Aly chose a Cat within a pumpkin...she just got a cat. I was going to make toasted pumpkin seeds but I don't feel like messing with it this year...I was doing good to handle the pumpkin smell without up-chucking! The girls decided they wanted to leave the pumpkins in the house...obviously they have NEVER been pregnant...we'll see how long they last inside. Enjoy the pictures!

Observation Week

Since it's observation week at the dance studio I was able to get some video and pics of the girls during dance class (you'll have to pause my playlist in order to hear the video).

First Picture

Yesterday was our first ultrasound for Baby Number 3. When I saw the heartbeat for the first time, blinking on the screen it brought a tear to my eye. I guess it doesn't really matter if it's your 1st or 3rd the feeling is still the same, incredibly amazing. According to the doctors' calculations I was 6 weeks and 1 day yesterday and I measured exactly 6 weeks and 1 day. That gives us a due date of June 14th.

I'll remain under the care of the specialist for a few more weeks and then I have an appointment to meet my new doctor on November 3rd. It seems as though morning sickness (all day sickness) is kicking in. I haven't thrown up yet but boy am I nauseous. A few weeks ago I was reading one of the blogs that I follow and the girl is in her first trimester of pregnancy and experiencing morning sickness. Me in all of my maternal bliss of just finding out I was pregnant made the comment "morning sickness is a good sign, it means everything is progressing along perfectly". Ha...now a few weeks later I need to keep reminding myself of this and if someone says that to me I might just punch them! Seriously though...I am very thankful to be experiencing this. I did tell Corey this morning that I thought it might be easier to work while you are pregnant rather than stay home with you other children. At least when you are working you don't have to worry about taking care of anyone but yourself during the 8 hour workday. Again...I am thankful for the opportunity to stay home it's just hard work at times.

OK enough whining but I only have 34 more weeks left to use the "pregnancy card".

Festive Fall Picture

Busy Saturday

Holy Moly, what a busy but fun Saturday. We started our day off with a nice bowl of cream of wheat...and coffee...yum. That was followed up by Corey power washing the driveway and me giving the girls baths. Here's a really cute picture I snapped during bath time:

Ashley decided to put on Aly's fuzzy socks and she had them pulled up so that they looked like furry boots. I just love her little butt cheeks in panties!

We then headed to Corey's Aunt & Uncle's house to see their daughter Morgan and meet "Baby Tessa". As you can see from the pictures it was a huge success for my "little mommies". They are going to be awesome when the baby gets here!

Then it was back home so that Corey could seal the driveway. After the chores were done we decided to take the girls to Grafton, IL for Apple Picking at Eckerts. How glad I am to be back in St. Louis so that I can pick apples at Eckerts, it's probably been 8 years since I've been there. We had a blast picking apples, eating funnel cakes and cheesy fries while drinking fresh apple cider! We got 12.5 lbs of apples...good thing because I've been craving them like CrAzY!

So now we are home, the girls are watching Disney Channel but are about the be booted off and forced to watch the latest episode of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making the Team with me while Corey is in the other room enjoying peace and quiet since he is flipping back and forth between the MIZZOU game and the UFC fight...sounds relaxing!

Snoogle

First of all many thanks to all of you for your really sweet congratulatory comments. It's nice to know that people really read my blog and get excited with us about the things going on in our lives!

Now onto this Snoogle thing. Since there are a few other preggos out there that read my blog I have to do my due diligence and tell you about this amazing sleep aid! I got my Snoogle when I was about 5 months pregnant with Aly. If I would've known how much better I would sleep I would've invested in it sooner. I ended up getting it out of the attic when I was about 3 months pregnant with Ashley and just last night at 5 1/2 weeks Corey went downstairs to fish it out of a Rubbermaid container for me. I put it in the wash this morning and am looking forward to some sweet sleep tonight!

After two kids it is completely amazing how my body already knows what to do...I am already starting to get this nice "beer gut". Corey said he noticed that my hips were already getting wider and that my bum was getting bigger. Wasn't that so sweet and sensitive of him?

Finally!!!

Well I can finally share the good news...we are expecting our third child sometime in early June!

I kept mum on the fertility stuff that we did last month...I figured God had heard mine, Corey and the girls prayers and His timing would be perfect. The treatment was really no big deal just clomid and a shot of ovidrel. Everything progressed along perfectly in my cycle and after 4 pregnancy tests and two blood tests we feel like it's time for you all to know.

We were hesitant on sharing the news because ovidrel can give you a false positive and we wanted to be absolutely positive. We found out the middle of last week and then I had blood and progesterone tests this past Monday and Wednesday. I've actually been to the doc quite a bit this week, three out of the last four days. I've been stuck 4 times at the lab and got a shot of Rhogam today (I'm O- and Corey is B+ so we get to take extra precautions). Really that equates to a little extra TLC from the doctors office which is A-OK with me!

I have strict orders to rest, no heavy lifting and no exercising (darn) for the next few weeks. So that means napping when the girls nap and I don't have to push the vacuum cleaner around...yea!

I have another progesterone test next week and then we go in for our first ultrasound on Monday, October 20th. According to my calculations I will be due around June 12th but I guess they will give us a more definitive date at the first appointment. Currently I am right around 5 weeks...only 35 more to go.

GIRLS ROCK

This past weekend I went the the annual Joyce Meyer Women's Covention in downtown St. Louis. It was a blast. A fun time to get away and hang out with the girls. We stayed at the Hilton Ballpark Hotel. I've stayed there a few times before, it overlooks Busch Stadium! As a St. Louis girl I can totally appreciate such an incredible view! I went to the conference with Corey's Mom, his sister and his 3 cousins.

Unfortunately my MIL had to work the convention so we didn't get to spend as much fun girly time with her as usual. The bright side of her having to work the covention and working for JMM was that she ROCKS and was able to score us some awesome reserve seats!! What does reserve seating mean?? Not having to wait in line with 20,000 other women to get a good seat. Each session we were able to bounce around a little so we enjoyed seats on the floor in the 2nd row, 4th row, 6th row, etc.

Worship was done by Darlene Zschech and Hillsong and it was amazing...Creflo Dollar preached the first night and was on fire! Lisa Bevere preached yesterday morning and I was amazed at her eleoquece, comedy and her merciful gifts, this was only my second time hearing her, first time in person and I am inspired to be even more of a "Nurturer". And then there was Joyce who was awesome...as usual! Special thanks to Corey and Jamie for taking care of the girlies for me!

Enjoy the pics!
